Our Salesman Rick Hogan went above and beyond his normal duties in making sure we were happy satisfied customers. We are from out of state and dealt with Rick in 2004 when and unfortunate event with a vehicle at that time led us to King Coal Chevrolet. The middle of May 2017 took 2010 Equinox in for check engine light, They say it needs catalytic converter.they changed it but in July check engine light came on again, they said it need the other catalytic converter and wanted 917.00 to change it. The first one was covered under warranty. Common sense would tell anyone if one of two converters went bad the other would be also. I will have the other converter put on but not at King Coal. They are incompetent. Funny thing is I was looking at the new Equinox and ready to buy, but not now. I will never buy another GM

I purchased a vehicle from dealership's premier pre-owned car lot on 8/19/17. I specfically questioned whether a cashiers check was needed to purchase car. Never told that personal check would hold up title to vehicle by 10 business days. My personal check cleared my bank, BB&T, a bank also located in dealership's city, on 8/22/17. Learned later that title transfer paperwork will not be mailed until week of 9/4/17. Policy was never explained at time of purchase. I am now forced to wait on title transfer and cannot transfer license plate for two more weeks. BUYER BEWARE! By the way, this policy was explained to me by Chase Barton, the general manager this date, 8/25/17. Could not help but notice that a Chase Barton left a favorable google post for this dealership! LOL!
