Great place for vacation! Our family really enjoyed it and will be returning! We went white water rafting on the lower New River. Raft guides were safety oriented and very helpful! They have clean bathrooms and showers. Only problem is if you are tent camping there is very little parking space.
Lots of fun! Our guide Andrew was knowledgeable and made the trip a blast. Lunch was more than we expected - not just sandwiches but sides and dessert. Everyone went the extra mile - awesome experience!!
This place is amazing! Came with my family of 4, went zip lining (right on the property) stayed in a beautiful cabin with hot tub on the porch, went water rafting on Stone Cliff Upper New River, and tomorrow moutain climbing and repelling. River Expeditions has everything, they'll bus you to activities, you can swim in their pool, soak in the hot tub, eat at the restaurant....if you love nature & the outdoors and FUN this is the place! Oh, almost forgot horse shoes, volleyball, tent & RV camping too! Great place! Absolutely awesome! Kids said "best ever!"
We rafted the upper gualey and had a great time. Our guide was awesome. The stop for lunch was a cool spot. The bar to hang out in and watch the videos is pretty cool too, of course you have to buy your video and pictures to show everyone at home what an adventure you had.
The luxury cabins were very comfortable. The white water rafting on the upper gulley was a blast. The lunch spot on the trip was beautiful. It was fun getting drinks for the ride back and watching video of the rafting in the bar. I wish there had been shoes with the wet suit rental and the cost for buying video and photos of the rafting was outrageous.
